Frequently asked questions
How does Black Market flipping work?
The Black Market in Caerleon has NPC buy orders for equipment that feed the game's mob loot. You buy gear (or buy base gear plus runes/souls/relics and upgrade its enchantment) in the royal cities, then sell into those Black Market buy orders. Profit is the Black Market bid minus your total cost after tax.
What is enchant flipping?
Instead of buying a finished enchanted item, you buy the base item plus the enchant materials (runes, souls, relics), upgrade it at an Enchanting Foundry, and sell the higher enchantment into the Black Market. It is often cheaper than buying the enchanted item outright.
Does item quality matter?
Yes. A higher-quality item can fill a lower-quality Black Market buy order, so the tool matches each item against the best eligible bid at or below its quality — sometimes a Good or Outstanding item is worth more than the exact-quality order.
Is Black Market flipping risky?
The main risk is transporting gear to Caerleon (a full-loot zone on the way in) and buy orders being filled before you arrive. Stick to fresh prices and liquid items; the full tool shows price age and daily sales volume so you avoid traps.
